M+ Creative Arts Studio is an interdisciplinary learning space where music, voice, visual arts and media come together. We offer programs in piano, vocal and choral music, recitation and stage expression, photography, video production and digital media. Working alongside professional artists, educators and community cultural organizations, we create welcoming, inspiring and professionally guided learning experiences for students of different ages and backgrounds.

We believe that arts education is about more than developing skills. It nurtures creativity, sensitivity, confidence and the ability to express one’s unique voice. For more than 20 years, we have guided students from their first steps in music to larger stages. Many have earned first place in various categories at Canadian music festivals and continued their studies at McGill University, the University of Toronto and Western University. From personal enrichment to professional development, we help every student discover their own musical voice.

Media Arts

With more than 20 years of professional experience in film and media, along with five years of teaching media arts at Canadian post-secondary institutions, we offer courses in media writing, photography, videography, editing, digital storytelling and new media creation.

From visual literacy to essential production skills, we help students develop a creative mindset for today’s media landscape—and tell their own stories through images and sound.

Supported by artists with international creative and teaching experience, our courses explore drawing, painting, colour, composition, mixed media and art appreciation. Students build strong foundations while developing their individual aesthetic awareness and artistic voice.

Through ACC, the Atlantic International Youth Art Festival and our professional arts education network, learners of all ages can progress from classroom study and creative practice to exhibitions and public arts participation.

We have planned and delivered art exhibitions, professional concerts, Chinese New Year galas, arts salons, fashion events and youth arts leadership workshops at leading galleries, theatres, universities and cultural institutions across Canada.

For many years, we have promoted artistic exchange among Canada, China and diverse cultural communities through international cultural events, community arts initiatives and government-funded arts and humanities projects. From creative direction and international collaboration to stage production and on-site delivery, we bring art, culture and communities together.
